Jazz up your Sig P365 with some easy and effective upgrades.
The SIG P365 is a revolutionary handgun and has already surpassed the millionth mark in sales. As such a popular and revolutionary weapon, we are bound to see a growing aftermarket. The aftermarket is not quite AR Kits big, but it’s getting there. This aftermarket often peddles upgrades, and as a huge P365 fan, I’ve gathered my top 5 P365 upgrades from a very big and constantly growing market.
P365 Upgrades Philosophy
When I upgrade a gun, I look at the gun’s inherent weaknesses and see how I can address them. The P365 is a great gun, but like any small gun, there are a few issues in a few departments. That’s the nature of the beast with small 9mms. A few places where the gun has weaknesses include:
- Short Sight Radius
- Muzzle Rise
- Limited Capacity (Even the P365)
- Proprietary Rail system
Holosun 507K Red Dot
We can address the short sight radius issue by adding a red dot. You have your standard P365 milled to accept a red dot, or if the P365 it’s already set up for the good ole Holosun 507K. The 507K is one of the most dynamic P365 upgrades you can make, but also one of the best. The red dot eliminates the need for a longer sight radius and makes shots out to 25 yards super easy and even fast. A red dot increases speed, accuracy and makes your gun easier to aim in all lighting conditions.
True Precision Threaded Barrel
A threaded barrel is a must if you ever want to use a muzzle device. This includes silencers, compensators, etc. The True Precision barrel does more than allow you to add accessories. The proprietary broach cut increases accuracy. The True Precision barrels are drop-in P365 upgrades that take zero effort to add. On top of that, the barrel fits tighter to also help with accuracy and precision.
Griffin Armament Micro Carry Compensator
The Griffin Armament Micro Carry Compensator is the world’s smallest compensator and is hardly bigger than a thread protector. This little comp does an impressive job of addressing the issue with small guns and their snappy recoil. It feels and handles like a much bigger gun. The Micro Carry Compensator is also an affordable option as far as P365 upgrades go. If you have a threaded barrel, you can instantly improve performance with this bad boy.
The Streamlight TLR 6
The Streamlight TLR 6 might be the smallest weapon light on the market. It packs both a light and a laser and shines with 100 lumens worth of mini LED light. It’s far from powerful, but the small size and the fact it fits the P365’s proprietary rail make it a valuable upgrade. The laser is a great secondary, or with the red dot, a tertiary sighting option.
+2 Mag Guts
Mag guts is a company based around building internal springs that increase capacity without increasing length. The brand new +2 Mag Guts for the P365 extend a 12 round magazine to 14 rounds. This brings the P365’s total capacity to 12 rounds, which is an impressive amount of ammo for such a little gun. This is another one of our drop-in P365 upgrades that’s instant in its installation.
Don’t Forget a Good Holster.
Oh yeah, if you have a P365 with all these upgrades, you owe it yourself to check out our holsters. We offer options to accommodate lights, laser, red dots, compensators, and more. You can carry in confidence knowing that your P365 upgrades are well protected and easily carried. What’s the point of a Gucci P365 is you can’t carry it?
