Help your favorite tactical buddy stay frosty.
It’s that time of the year! There is a chill in the air. Red and green are becoming the only colors that matter and the world’s embraced gift giving. As such, we’ve gathered a variety of gift ideas at a wide variety of prices. This Shooter’s gift guide has something for all, from big awesome gifts to the stocking stuffer size niceness. Hopefully, we can help you find the perfect gift for the shooter in your life.
Rogue Holster
I’m starting the list with some shameless self-promotion, primarily of the Rogue Holster. The Rogue is a brand new holster from Crossbreed that completely defies every holster Crossbreed has ever produced. Crossbreed crafter the Rogue holster entirely from kydex. It’s the first all kydex holster in Crossbreed’s catalog.
Comfort, access, safety, and modularity are all at the forefront of the Rogue. We can the ability to add a magazine carrier for an extra reload, various clips and hooks, as well as a concealment claw. On top of that, you can adjust the cant, the ride height, and more with the Rogue. It’s an awesome gift for concealed carriers and is available for a wide variety of guns. It might be a shameless plus, but it earns its spot on our shooter’s gift guide.
Caldwell Target Turner
The Caldwell Target turner might be one of the coolest pieces of range gear you can get. It costs about 90 bucks, but it honestly feels like a bargain when you consider what you are getting. This device rotates your target 90 degrees at different intervals that the user can manually set from 1 to 6 seconds.
You can tack on any standard IDPA, IPSC, or NRA action pistol cardboard target, and boom, you bring an entirely new challenge to your training. At this price point, it’s cheap for what it does, and I’m not gonna lie, I really hope this is the gift I get off of my own Shooter’s gift guide.
Mantis Laser Academy
The Mantis Laser Academy system brings new life to your dry fire world. It’s the best dry fire training system in the world. Dry fire provides a low to a no-cost alternative to live fire and allows you to develop your skills and sharpen them as well. The Mantis Laser Academy gives you an awesome and fun alternative to the same old boring, dry fire. This gift will sharpen a shooter’s skill and grants you several challenging courses of fire, numerous targets, and more.
It’s one of the pricier options on our Shooter’s gift guide, but it pays itself off in the long run.
Crossbreed Bedside Backup
The Bedside Backup allows you to keep a handgun at hand for when things go bump in the night. This simple system slips between your mattress and box spring and provides a ton of hoop and loop potential for attaching all types of goodies. This includes holsters, pouches for magazines and a flashlight, and more. It’s a simple but handy addition to your home security matrix.
This is not a child safety device and if children are present in the home, consider another gift on our Shooter’s gift guide.
Rogers Shooting School TRT Devices
The Rogers Shooting School brings a ton of awesome products to the market at a very low price point. One such device is the TRT Devices. These devices insert into your magazine and push the follower downwards. This prevents the follower from tripping the last round bolt or slide hold-open device. This allows you to practice your reloads quickly and efficiently with a realistic action.
These are super cheap and available for a wide variety of firearms, including the most common handgun calibers and for AR 15 magazines.
Crossbreed Crossover Belt
A good gun belt is a must-have for concealed carriers. A good gun belt makes carrying a firearm much more comfortable, much safer, and much easier. The Crossover belt is one of my favorites. It’s a supportive belt made to take the weight of your concealed carry, a spare mag, and more.
The Crossover gun belt provides a minimalist gun belt with a slide buckle and low profile appearance. I don’t want a belt that stands out, and I don’t think most people do. That’s why I chose the Crossover belt for our Shooter’s gift guide.
Birchwood Casey 3D Silouhette Targets
Finally, if you have guns, you likely want to shoot them, right? Well, if you shoot them, you need targets. The Birchwood Casey 3D silhouette targets are something a bit different. Instead of flat paper targets, these are 3D targets that provide you with a multitude of angles to practice engagement on. It provides a more realistic experience and provides a durable and realistic target.
Plus, it’s quite affordable, and for about five bucks a pop, it’s the cheapest piece of gear on our Shooter’s gift guide.
Most Wonderful Time of the Year
I hope you and yours have an amazing Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year. I hope you find something great on our Shooter’s gift guide for the loved one in your life who fancies themselves a gunslinger. Let us know below what I should add to this gift guide!
