Description

The J Clip 2.0 is now stronger, smaller, and more versatile than ever before at the same great price as the original design.

This clip goes down BEHIND the belt and then hooks up at the bottom preventing the holster from drawing out with the gun. The advantage to this clip is that it is more discreet than the SnapLok and is the best option if you will be wearing BDU, woven-style, canvas or nylon belts. But by putting the weight on the pants instead of the belt, it tends to want to ride down with heavier guns or weaker waistbands. All clips will accommodate a belt up to 1.5" wide. The most common option is for folks to order a couple of J Clip 2.0's to go with their SnapLoks. This means you would get both the SnapLoks and J Clip 2.0 and decide which you liked best or mix and match. Order a single clip or the quantity of your choice.

When the standard clips would give it away, please have a very low profile. This picture is in the 9 o’clock position with the gun in the holster and all you see Is about a quarter inch of plastic underneath the belt, if you know what to look for. Also there is enough room to tuck in the shirt between the holster and pants

Will these allow for a deeper carry than the standard ones that come on the reckoning holster? I feel the way it is now it sits too high.

Will the hardware from the SnapLok clips work, or will I need to purchase the J Clip hardware?

    • Store Owner

Yes, it takes the same hardware as the J clips.

Do the J-Clips come with hardware or does it have to be ordered separately?

    • Store Owner

The J Clips will not come with hardware as they will use the same clip hardware that is already on the holster.  If you would like additional hardware it can be added but is not necessary if you already have the holster.

Do any of your clips wrk well with a 1 3/4 belt. An thoughts of make larger width metal original clips in the future.

    • Store Owner

The J-clips are designed to go down behind the belt and then hooks up at the bottom preventing the holster from drawing out with the firearm. If you're looking for an over-the-belt clip, our IWB Polymer clips will work for a belt up to 1.75": https://www.crossbreedholsters.com/holsters/accessories/polymer-iwb-clip.html

Do the J-clips work wit 1.75” belts?

    • Store Owner

Yes, the J-clips rest on your waistband and go behind your belt, not over, and then hook underneath, so they can be used with any width belt.
