The Hook & Loop Fastener-lined Kydex panel fits securely in your purse or another bag and keeps the gun and purse stabilized. I love the purse defender! The size is perfect for my purse, it fits my glock like a glove, and the draw feels natural. A AmyI have a smith and Wesson j frame air weight 642 with laser, what would fit? The laser was not available with laser option.

D DeborahDoes the purse defender panel attach somehow to the inside of your purse? Otherwise wouldn’t the whole panel and holster pull out of the purse when trying to draw the gun?

The Purse Defender panel does not attach to the purse. It will work great with most purses but not all off them. Most purses have a zipper flap that the Purse Defender will catch on stay in the purse when drawing.

S SusanIs the “L” piece hard or soft? I see the comments about adding Velcro. But other than that what keeps it from getting lost in a bigger purse?

The L shaped panel is hard and sturdy and is made out of kydex like the pocket on the holster. The standard Purse Defender Panel measures 9 inches long by 6 inches tall. I have never heard of the panel being lost inside the purse. It is designed so you take the contents out of purse, place the panel in the purse, and the place your contents back on top of the 3 inch bottom of the panel to help hold it in place and weight it down.

You can select what firearm and light/laser you have by filling in the required fields. If you do not see the option for your firearm there it is because we either do not have that mold or do not offer that holster for your setup.

C CaitlinI am thinking about purchasing this for my s&w shield EZ for my purse carry; was wondering what would be recommended size-wise if I have installed my own laser/light? Would there still be enough room?

The size of the Purse Defender panel depends on the size of your purse. As far as the holster part, it would need to be made for the specific firearm and laser/light in order to have the proper fitment.
